NEWFOLD FARM is one of the oldest farms in our beautiful village of Edale. Since the 1960s it has also been home to Cooper’s Campsite, run for many years by Roger and Penny Cooper, who took it on from Roger’s father and ran it until their retirement in 2020.

OUR BEAUTIFUL VALLEY

Our Campsite is located at the base of Grindslow Knoll right at the start of the Pennine Way, and as such occupies one of the most fantastic locations in the country. Onsite we have Newfold Cafe and the Edale General Store, both of which serve visitors and the local community alike.

The campsite is made up of four fields, which we have named after some of the beautiful birds that inhabit the valley and surrounding moors. Over the next few years Newfold Farm’s new family have plans to redevelop the toilet block and farm buildings, modernise the camping pitches and install some friendly resident animals to broaden the family camping experience.
